Hi folks,

I have a doepfer system and have switched from using the doepfer lin and exp vca to using the vca in my system 100, due to easily percieved sound "quality" differences. i have no doubt that the system 100 vca is not more accurate, but just sort of opposite of the doepfer in terms of color (the system 100 seems to cut off very high frequencies, but has a very warm and nice low midrange).

i recently ordered the a135 voltage controlled mixer.

question: does the dual lin/exp vca offer a different sound quality

i suppose at this point i am looking for a more accurate sound. i saw on some board postings both positve and negative reviews of the dual vca in terms of sound quality.

any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks!
