thanks for this information! i am looking forward a matrix mixer to
integrate it in my modular live setup :)
imo a 4x4 matrix is for most applications sufficient (eg mixing the
outs of the quad modules or 2 dual modules...).
hence, it would be more convenient to use a slightly modified front
panel layout:
i suggest a "matrix design" of the ins and outs, ie using the inputs
on the left and the outputs on the bottom (fifth row). alternatively,
the ins can be placed on the bottom (or top) row and the outs on the
right, depending on whether the switches for polarity (next to the
outs) fit in a vertical or horizontal line...
it would be cheaper (16 instead of 25 pots) and in particular much
more clear in a live context and more compact (i think 20te will do it)...
any further suggestions !
