I'm making a stand for my 3 portable 6U Doepfer cases that will do
almost this. It will be a frame made from right angled aluminum
pieces. Think of a "L" shape with a 45 degree angle across the 90. It
will hold one case flat on its back, one case at a 45 degree angle and
the third standing on top of that one. The bottom case will have
mostly controllers in it. the middle will have CV sources, and the top
mainly audio. I will post pictures when it's done. It has a design
advantage to a single case design in that it is easily portable since
it can be broken into 3 pieces for transport. It will be easy to make
also and hopefully very sturdy.
