I gotta agree - not only that it sems hopeless at buchla emulation but that it is a fine, unique filter in its own right, I heard some organic flute-like tones that I've never heard from a synth before
I'd love to know how it compares with the A-101-1 Steiner filter - does that have a similar quality - Bakis

the A101-2 is one of my favourite filters.
it is not initally impressive, but, in time, i have come to really value its sound shaping abilities (and the fact that it does not have a really 'pronounced' character). the vactrols it uses are fine also for wobbly sounds.
i like it a lot!

I heard that a criticism of the Doepfer A-101-2 module is that it uses
the wrong the Vactrols (when compared to the Buchla).
Has anyone ever modded the module to get more desirable results
While we are on the topic of mods, is there somewhere that Doepfer
mods are collected and documented
