Hi Kevin,

My pleasure! I still can't believe how much stuff I'm learning: when I bought my first G6 case-ful I had no idea that it would lead me in the direction that I'm now going in, and how much fun I would have with it all - thank you very much Mr. Doepfer!
Dieter has in fact been in touch with me directly and provided more info and insights (thanks Dieter!): indeed the oscillator frequency could be lowered by altering the capacitors associated with it, and this would alleviate some of the problems I mentioned, but I still suspect that any such change would have knock-on effects to the circuitry biasing the 1496's, which again, based on my current level of knowledge, looks quite non-trivial. However, if my level of knowledge increases to the point whereby I had the confidence to tinker with my 126 to see what's possible, I'll let you know!
Tim
