That same synth seems to go up on ebay for the same price maybe a
couple times a year for the last couple of years. I would guess ebay
is being used as sort of a classified ad. The few that have sold
don't sell for anything like that much. Just guessing, but it would
make business sense to get the word out via ebay watchers and then
hopefully sell it off ebay avoiding the fees.

EMS Rehberg, a long time authorized but independent EMS franchise in
Germany will build you one for 60,000 euros.

Actually, though this might not be the best list, something I've been
curious about is how interesting or unique is the High Pass Filter on
them It has dedicated HPFs and I've been sort of curious as to how
unique they are. They might just be the same LPF circuit with the
invert and mix back with the dry signal technique... or maybe
something different.
