I'd like to use the microphone in my cheapo computer headset to
process talk through the A-100. When I plug it into my A-119 input I
don't get anything - I assume this is because it's a condenser mic and
that it therefore needs a few volts of potential between ground and
hot.
Does anybody have an idea of how many volts a standard computer
headset microphone needs Would a 9V battery be enough, and would the
A-119 survive 9V on the input I imagine I could solder up two mini
jacks and a 9V battery, + to signal, - to ground, and put it all in a
nice little box - would this be sufficient And harmless to my A-119
Thank you for the bandwidth,
