I must say that of all the modules I have, the Bananalogue VCS is the only
one I regret not having in greater number. I absolutely love this
Serge-like versatility that makes it a VC processor, a VC source, an audio
source, an audio modulator, a clock, and on, and on. This is not only great
value, it is above all a stimulating tool to work with. I would love to see
more of this kind of modules. If the VCS could still be bought, I would buy
a couple more for sure. My 2 cents.

Objet : 1 A open letter to dieter doepfer about the
Thru-Zero-VCO
The A-1 Thru-Zero Quadrature VCO/VCF (QVCO) is perhaps the future module
of any eurorack manufacturer that I am the most excited about, especially,
because of my hopes that the idea of getting rid of the VCF functionality
isn't final.
Why do we need another VCF
Well, let me put it this way. Sometimes, in a small modular, we might not
need the quadrature VCO functionality, but when we need just another
filter, the filter functionality is there. This would be somewhat similar
to the "patch-programmability" the serge-modulars are so famous for.
The Bananalogue VCS is a very sought-after eurorack module, why It's a a
swiss-army knife which can be used for so many things it's hard not to use
it for something in every patch.
I'm a Doepfer customer because I like the flexibility of the modules and
the awesome price, I have a very limited space for modules (6U) and I am a
student, so I have very limited resources, that is why a thru-zero vco/vcf
would be right up my alley.
Please, in the final design, leave the VCF option, because if you do, then
I'll take 2 right upon release! (otherwise I'll still take one but still..
why limit options when it's not nescessary )
Keep up the awesome work you are doing!
A great fan and satisfied customer!
