I have managed to put them back... also, as far as I remember... euh... no it doesnt exactly stay still without the springs... but also even with the srpings, the position is not that accurate I am affraid... I mean it never comes back really exactly same position each time... if looking for very precise settings it is not ideal I would say... even though I found it very practical and good joystick module...
