It depends on what your trying to achieve but if for example you want a
musical output you would patch it like so:
keyboard CV out - to - VCO CV1 (fixed 1/V input)
keyboard gate out - to - Envelope gate in
a simple patch then would be (if you have the modules)
Keyboard CV - VCO - VCA audio in - VCA audio out - amp
Keyboard gate - Env - VCA CV in (turn the VCA initial gain to zero)
Set env to zero attack and medium decay and you should get a sound when
you press a key.
It's the same patch if you replace keyboard with a sequencer.
Then you can add a filter between VCO and VCA to colour your patch and
then route the env out to the filter CV as well so it tracks the
keyboard. Add modulation to filter, VCA etc for more interest.

Subject: 1 CV / Gate control
I'm sorry for such a naive question, but I'm getting close to having
enough modules in my first ever modular to be able to make a noise &
have realised that I don't know how to control the A-100 either from
another CV/Gate synth, or from a dedicated CV/Gate keyboard - is there
a module I need I can also see that there is a CV/Gate connection via
the Bus Boards in my G6 Suitcase and it looks like the two boards can
be jumpered - is that correct Thanks, Matt
