Yes, but if you don't have any keyboard with analogue CV and gate out,
then you won't be able to play different notes or melodies.
The ADSR and the LFO do not need to be necessarily voltage controlled
(will depend on what you want to do). I personally would recommend the
A-143-3 Quad LFO, which is 100 Euro for 4 (four!) LFOs instead of 80
Euros for a single VCLFO.

As written above:
These patterns will be truely monotone, because you do not have anything
that will change the pitch in sequenced steps.
If you are not bound to tonal and melodic patterns then the A-148 Dual
Sample&Hold in combination with one of the LFOs of A-143-3 would be a
nice pattern generator (though not predictable, but nevertheless in some
more complex way repetitive).
