Analogue systems/EMS collaboration

Analogue systems are pleased to announce the successful negotiations with legendary U.K synth manufacturer EMS a licensing agreement to produce certain classic modules to compliment the integrator range.
These modules will bear the EMS name and will faithfully reproduce the circuitry of the EMS VCS3 and synthi a.
The modules will incorporate all the modifications and updates that EMS undertook over the years with EMS allowing full access to the schematics and files to analogue systems designers.

The first modules will be EMS synthi filter which will incorporate the 18db/24db toggle switch which represents pre 1974/post 1974 changes so the user can decide from what era he wants the filter to emulate. voltage controlled resonance will be available because this was incorporated on the circuit boards but mot implemented on the synth itself.
The next module to be manufactured will be the a on d off trapezoid envelope generator again with all the official mods to stabilise the circuit to increase its usefulness.
If these first two modules are successful then there is a possibility of the two companies working on a joint project to create the super synthi with separate signal and control matrices, dual joystick controllers ,midi etc.T
he first module should be available by September.
