I wish the big euro-modular manufactures would just start using
slotted holes like Cwejman, Flame, Melekko and others. It would make
the whole thing a moot point. All units would fit in all frames with
out any gaps. And the thing is that punching a slot instead of a hole
is no extra cost with all the metal shops I have ever used. They just
have the head change on the punch. The fact that some companies are
doing it shows it is not too cost prohibited. Since the majority of
people I know who use Euro modulars mix and match from multiple
companies and no "standard" seems to exist now - this would be the
compromise that would work for everyone. Change the modules, not the
frames.
