thanks for the recent kind words about my cd`s and dvd`s !
i appreciate your attention to my modest efforts.
a bit more detail - the cd that bakis spoke well of was a recording by ed
baldi (a modular friend in baltimore, md.) and myself done in ed`s
basement and is of a real-time, no pre-preparation/pre-planning, improvisation.
considering it was our first time playing together, we were quite pleased by
how it came out.
dvd`s are all of recent solo and duo live performances and document my
activity here in our local "scene" which while modest in scope is still fairly
active with at least 3 monthly event series between d.c and baltimore
devoted to experimental music.
after becoming interested in e.m. back in the early 70`s and doing it "in
the basement in isolation", imagine my surprise in 2005 when i accidentally
discovered that we even *had* a local "scene" and found myself excited by
the prospect of performing in front of an audience (actually, having never
done it before, more than a little scared too :^) ) and found it to be
fun. i promised myself that i would continue to do it until it stopped being
fun, if ever.
so, thats the backstory...............
