You are saying you already have a French Connection and you are
thinking about the mini case system Is that correct
As mentioned, you do want to add up the power usage and compare to
the mini psu.
You will need an adaptor ribbon cable to power the RS95e since the
cable for RS is different than Doepfer
You probably need to drill the screw holes wider on the RS module
because they use a different spacing from the edge of the module to
the screw holes so you can easily mount a row of either Doepfer or
ASys in either company's case because the strip with but the two
brands leave a gap if mounted next to each other and that adds up to
a little less you actually can fit . One alternative to drilling new
holes, though I don't know if it works on the minicase is to remove
the metal strip from the rail that has threaded screw holes in it and
use nuts to hole the module screws in the rails instead.
You didn't mention if you have any other modules. What you have
doesn't quite add up to a complete typical synth voice. You lack at
least an envelope & VCA. Maybe you are aware already, you didn't
mention your goal. If the smallness is a requirement and you do want
a basic synth voice you might want to consider one of the "analog
synth voices" in a single module that Doepfer or another module maker
builds. For instance the just released Doepfer A-111-5 or the Cwejman
VM-1 (if it fits in that case, I didn't check).
