I don't own a MAQ 16/3 but as far as I know, it doesn't match 1/10th of bpm.

Silas recommendation for the MC-303 can be extended to the EF-303 which
is a f***ing (sorry) great step sequenced multi effect device. It has
the same beatsync features as the MC-303 including push/pull buttons for
the clock. The EF-303 is a quite underestimated gem in the Roland
product line. It is very good for working with MIDI in a DJ-setup.
