yeah, i know the p800 is supposed to submit clock info as per the l and yes i set it up to test it with notes before and there is no signal. i know its not my doepfer because it works with protools and logic midi. anyway, i think that it has to with the crippled midi system they put in the old korgs. i guess i will try something else. thanks.

So it doesn't send note info either You say clock is all you need
but I'd think note info would be a good diagnosis. If your note info
doesn't come through then you have something physically wrong in your
hardware setup beyond the Korg not outputting a clock. If it's just
the clock then maybe it an issue with the oldness and incomplete MIDI.
Perhaps you have something else or have a friend with something else
with a MIDI clock that you could verify you have your module set up
for doing whatever it is with the clock you are trying to do.
