The 4 pins of the USB connector have these functions: GND, pressure CV (D+),
position CV (D-), Vref (about +5V).
You should be able to measure the two voltages for pressure and position on
the two pins of the USB socket when you touch the manual. If these voltages
are OK probable the R2M box is defective and has to be repaired. You may try
also another USB cable.
