Yes, I'd recommend that to be on the safe side. Generally such protection
resistors should be used on all outputs unless it's an output that requires
high precision e.g. for VCO pitch control with 1.00V/oct. In this case a
special output circuitry should be used (like the A-185-1 or A-185-2) to
avoid voltage losses caused by a protection resistor.
