ok, so, basically, you want just a simpler version of the Doepfer Touch keyboard and sequencer controller.
i would think that a touch keyboard with 24 plates, allighned as a two octaves keyboard, retains the 24 touch plates functionality while, additionally, providing the convenience of a chromatic keyboard, in case anyone want to use it that way in some application. so, you have best of both worlds... (touch plates plus a more standard keyboard, just in case...)
all other expected functions (pressure sensitivity, cv addressing, analogue sequencer with touch plates addressing the active step, etc. are there...)

What I'm saying is for myself I don't really want something in the "standard" keyboard layout at all. Just something with 4 to 8 touchplates, individual and common multiple voltages and gate outs
that can be sequences with an external clock and some direction options.
I would buy Tom's design if it was available in Euro.
