Yep, I agree with all the above!
Maplin (www.maplin.co.uk) codes are:
XR73Q - Flat 16-way IDC cable
FG44X - 2x8 DIL IDC socket (2x8 = 16 way!) (not sure why they call it a 'socket', I would call it a plug!)
Cable is priced per 30cm (i.e. one foot), and for the 175 you'll need 2 of the sockets (other modules have a 2x8 at the busboard end, and a 2x5 at the module end, which is code JB59P, and then you'd have to peel off 6 of the wires from the ribbon cable!).
I would also recommend copying the orientation of the plugs on the cable from one of the Doepfer ones - this is probably the surest way of not getting it round the wrong way!
