At first the touch keyboard is only a unit that transmits the information
which pad is touched (nothing but Midi note on/off). This information can
be
used to drive e.g. a control module that outputs e.g. a single gate or
trigger signal for each pad (e.g. with LED display), one or more CV outputs
(equally tuned or with adjustable voltage for each pad) and many more. Or
it
can be used to control a suitable sequencer unit.
My idea is to have a separate box (not a module) that is connected to the
control/sequencer module by a cable (like the A-198 manual). If desired the
box can be mounted as a module too (e.g. by means of a blind panel with a
cut-out that fits to the box).
dieter,
f.w.i.w., i`d like to see a "module" for the circuitry and a separate
"manual" ala a-198.
good luck !
best,
dave
