From your last remark their it sounds as if you may have powered the A-110 up with one end of the power ribbon reversed ( ). If this is the case then I'm afraid you are going to have to get it repaired by someone who knows what they are doing, preferably the Doepfer agent in your country - unfortunately this sort of thing is a fairly common occurrence!
