Hi Simon,
to me your "48V" sounds a littlebit like you think about splitting a
microphone signal which is fed with phantom power.
If i am right: These 48V are not signal level, but something completely
different. If you want to feed the A119 with a microphone, that requires
phantom power you have to use a mic split box that provides the phantom
power fro the microphone and then send the output of the splitbox to the
A119 on one side and to the mixer on the other side.
