I use the A-150 as a gate; audio/CV signal IN1, nothing in IN2, audio out I/O.
I know that the A-151 is capable of this - I have one myself - but since the A-150 is made of two identical modules, this would save me a lot of rack space.
The thing is that I would need six A-150 instead of twelve A-150!
The MT9 midi-trig from Analogue Solutions can switch between nine trigger signals and what is very important, I can make Max/Msp switch between the nine triggers in any order I like.
So with two MT9 and six A-150 it would be possible to have plenty of "gates" incorporated in my modular system and only use 44 HP of rack space.
Isn't this the best solution, if the A-150 can be triggered, for my system
Best wishes
