if i understand what you mean correctly then no, because you'd have changed the scaling and it wouldn;t be v/oct anymore and the offset would still be there, which is even worse.
I could be wrong about this, but if i had to try it now i'd mix some negative cv in to try and cancel out the offset, for which you'd need a constant cv source, voltage inverter and a mixer - or maybe there is a hardware mod out there to remove the offset altogether
or if you have a sequencer you could bypass the offet/scaling problem altogether by setting the cv levels manually for whatever pitch you want
