Oh, just an interesting bus board strategy. I have a Doepfer G6 with a
pair of A-155s inside. So I found it no problem to remove one bus
board to add to my DIY kit.
I too wish I could get the rails separate. One hope would be for
people buying the kit who already have a third party rack wanting to
sell their rails. That way they have extra rails. But I'm sure a lot
of those people are buying a third party supply these days. I wound
up buying a third party rack to power 9U from a DIY kit.
I should try Schroff in the U.S. by phone. Maybe 2 years ago I placed
an online order to get a quote and they sent an automated email saying
they'd get back and they didn't.
I guess I'm in an odd situation. I have more rails than I know what to
do with - but they are Schroff rails that need either strips for
screws or plastic stoppers I think. They definitely can't use nuts to
hold the modules like the Pro-ma rails as far as I know. I need to get
some Schroff strips.
