It was a second hand unit so as you said who knows what it has been through.
No trouble at all. If anything, it gives me a chance to solve a puzzle and better understand how the circuit is built.

I'm glad to hear that the module is working again. Did you get a new module from your dealer/representative or was the modules purchased second hand In the first case such a fault should not happen. If it's second hand it's difficult to find out what happened in the past with the module (e.g. mechanical damage during transportation or by falling down).
