Subject: 1 Doepfer A-149-1 Quantized/Stored Random Voltages chip Help

Hello I have a Doepfer A-149-1 and A-149-2. I am having a problem with my A-149-1. I think the microprocessor chip on the board has gone bad. The top half of the module doesn't work, light up, sending any CV to it does nothing anymore. The bottom, lights up but only with one L.E.D. Not sure what went out as I didn't take the module out of the case for a long time, and the other day I powered it on, and now it doesn't work. Is there a way I could do this repair on my own I know the module is getting power, and the 149-2 is lighting up and working its just not working for the top half. The chip I suspect is the "PIC16F76-1/SP (M) 054858M. Does anyone know what I could do to possibly get this repaired or order this chip from Doepfer Nothing else is burned out on the board, everything looks completely fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Richard
