OK, so I bought one of these, moved the jumper but can't get the 2x amplification as mentioned here (

"The amplification range for the input will be probably 0...+2 in the attenuator mode, and -2...+2 in the polarizer mode, i.e. the maximum amplification will be x2 and the module can be used also to amplify CV or audio signals"
In my example of +4V being the input voltage, that is the max voltage measured at the outputs trying all positions of knobs and switch.
Please can you let me know where I'm going wrong.

Yes, but you have to change the position of the JP3 jumper. The factory
setting is 0...+5V offset (upper position of the jumper). You have to change
it to the lower position (-5V...+5V offset).
