Hi Richard
Did you know there's a jumper on the A-156 to make both quantizers use the scale
switches I find it more useful to have both as diatonic rather than one
diatonic and the other chromatic. In fact I have 2 A-156s as they are so
useful. I use them as S/Hs and also as a CV change trigger generator as well as
4-part harmonies. Great!! Any progress on the DAC yet
Regards

Subject: 1 Re: A-156 Quantizer problem
I just fixed it. Seems that the socket wasn't creating the circuit like it
should when no jack is inserted. I pressed the contacts together with the tip of
my screwdriver and now it works. It thought there was a jack and there wasn't!
Panic over.
Nothing to see hear... move along :-)
Hi
I've just noticed that the top quantizer in my A-156 only quantizes if fed a
trigger to its 'Trig In' socket. If nothing is plugged in to this socket then
the 'CV OUt' doesn't change at all.
The manual says that if nothing is plugged in it should quantize all the time
(which is what my lower quantizer does).
I've never used this top quantizer before as I like the advanced options of the
lower one. Is this something that anyone else has seen Is it fixable
Thanks
Richard Horsman
