Hi folks, I'm new to modular synthesis and this is my first post to this group so please forgive my naivety. I recently purchased a second-hand, half filled A-100 G6. I though, at the price I paid, that it would be a good way of breaking into an area that has tempted me for years. The system came with a couple of Oscillator, a phase modular, a mixer, an envelope generator, a midi to CV converter and a A-111-5 mini synthesizer (Dark energy equivalent). This left plenty of space for expansion and so far I've added a ring modulator and a VCA.
So far, so good. I've been using synths since the early '80's and I understand the general principals of what a lot of this system can do. However, I feel the A-115, Audio Divider, that came with it hasn't really shown me it's true worth yet. Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to how best employ this module in relation to the rest of this set-up. Don't get me wrong, I have read it's manual and I understand what it's doing, but it just doesn't seem to have made a worthwhile impression on me yet.
