Just one little comment about "beeing hacked".
You do not necessarily get "hacked". At the most mailservers in the
world you can send a mail as any sender - as long as the sender domain
is valid. It does not have to be the domain of the sending mailserver.
As long as you (where ever from) know, that this faked sender once sent
a mail to the target adress, you can do the same.
Example: I am sending this mail with Bakis from-address!
