try sending a gate at the accent input also of the sd88 (at the same time that you send the gate to the trigger input).
then the SD88 might work with +5volts gates too.... or better add a cv offset of more than 5 volts to the accent input of the SD88...

Thank you very much! I'll get an A-183-3, that looks like exactly what I'm after. I can get *some* modules (the BD88 and CP88) to trigger at +5V, but not the SD88, which has the trigger LED light up but no sound actually come out of it, and judging by an old thread on Muff Wigglers (

), it's just that Analogue Solutions snares need a bit more juice on the trigger for some reason.
