i've noticed that before too - i always enjoy it because cranking oscillators up into that extreme high range then sending then through a ring modulator and detuning/sweeping them makes for some of my most favorite kinds of clangorous noises! ;-)
i don't think it'll blow anything up (never had any problems myself), but i'm not the expert. Dieter ...

Subject: 1 A-110 range
Hi!
I couldn't help but notice that the top limit of the A-110's range knob is actually +7, rather than the +2 that the markings indicate. Is there a story behind this Is it safe to go higher than +2, and reasonably stable tuning It sounds fine to me, but that makes me wonder why it's not labelled as going up to +7.
Thanks,
Zoe.
