Hi everyone!
So are there any good resources for demos of any Doepfer modules, or any pieces of music where the musician says which modules she or he used to perform it on They're just about pricey enough to make it worth knowing how they sound *before* they arrive. :)
So far I've found a few demos and music clips on YouTube and SoundCloud (the
http://soundcloud.com/groups/doepfer-convergence
group and
http://soundcloud.com/tags/doepfer
tag help), and I'm trying to help participate in these communities somewhat, tagging tracks I upload with what I used to make them, so someone can think "ah, *that's* what that sounds like, oh, maybe I do want to get one of those after all." Obviously, the more of us there are doing this, the more it benefits all of us.
So are there any other resources for this kind of thing I'd be happy to set up a mini-Doepfer-encyclopedia type website to host such audio examples if others think it would be useful, and anyone wanted to send me some demos I could use. Or could more of us upload examples to SoundCloud That would probably be a much easier route. I bet between all the people on this mailing list, we have several examples of pretty much every module in use in actual songs. It seems silly for us to not all take advantage of that, for everyone's mutual benefit.
Thanks,
Zoƫ.
