Hi,
The busboards can be mounted on to the Back Panel using spacers to give
clearance on the back of the board. The PSU2 will also mount on to the back
panel as well. There is no facility for the IEC socket so you will need to
cut a large hole to accept this (I can supply the IEC socket similar to the
Doepfer one). I don't have any dimensional details on the Doepfer back panel
to tell if it will fit or not and I haven't seen one to be able to advise.

An alternate solution would be my All-In-One supply although you would need
to cut out a hole in the side panel for access to the IEC socket which is
integrated in to the board. For this solution I would also advise on the
deeper 220mm version to ensure good clearance for any modules in front of
the power supply (Power cables are usually more than long enough for this
longer depth and the Doepfer cases are this deep anyway). The attached
picture shows the power supply mounted on the OUTSIDE of the rack which
would not be suitable for your scenario.

I like the industrial look of the elby designs racks. i want to add the
doepfer psu2 and bus rail. are they easy to place in your 3U rack's back
panel. Or do you think I can use the doepfer 3u back panel that includes the
power socket, switch , fuse holder, holes for mounting the psu 2 etc

How much would it cost the Elby D 3u rack (i think the shallow is ok as i
want it for metasonix R modules)
