Thanks!

I've been wondering the same thing myself. :D
> Question for Zoë: is it expandable to more steps
Yes, the 16 steps are pretty arbitrary. Nina and I are still working out what would be the best interface for it (digitally controlled tempo, pattern length, pattern selection and copying/pasting/transposing/rotating, and entering notes, rests, slides and accents). I don't like the idea of scrolling or layers of menus, so it'll either be buttons and LEDs and potentially up to hundreds of steps, or buttons and a single big LCD and up to 16 steps, all visible on-screen at once.
It should be pretty easy to implement DIN sync in and out too, plus make an eight channel drum machine version, so it could be a really neat set of devices.
We're hoping to at least make a kit available, maybe in the form of an Arduino shield at least, but it depends how much interest there is. I'm hoping to eventually work my way up to a fully fledged multi-channel step sequencer with a few different channels of pitched notation, drums and tempo synced LFOs... but I tend to run away with ideas quite a bit!
All the best,
Zoë.
