Wow, when I typed my post, I didn't expect I would hear back from Dieter Doepfer himself! Although I'm still very new to this forum and to modular synthesis in general, thank you very much, Dieter, not only for your many remarkable contributions to electronic music but also for being a supportive part of this online community.
