Thanks to the wonderful help of Dieter Doepfer and Chris Assall (and Google Translate, hehe), I've made the first attempt at a .wav to .syx converter for the A-112. The files are 74909 bytes each, with the right amount spent on the header, most significant bits, least significant bits and footer. It'll probably take a while of hearing people report the result and tweaking it with trial and error to get it working perfectly, but we're definitely out of the "long shot" zone and into the "fixing bugs" one.
