I do not recommend this as the FP5 warranty will be void.
Short form: you have to loose the nut that holds the potentiometer inside
the FP5 and adjust the potentiometer so that in the low position 0V are
generated by the A-177-2. Sometimes it's not sufficient to rotate the
potentiometer only and the potentiometer has to be removed and mounted again
with another angle. That's a bit tricky because of the control shaft that
operates the potentiometer. We also found that some FP5 are wired in the
wrong way from the factory. In this case the wires have to be re-wired in
the right way. I'd strictly recommend to return the FP5 and ask for a
"Doepfer approved" FP5.
