A-100 modules cannot be damaged with a +12V gate signal (but I cannot speak
for other manufacturers). As a rule nothing can be damaged in the A-100 as
long as the signals (audio or gate or clock or control voltages) are
within -12V and +12V (again I cannot speak for other manufacturers). There
are only 3 exceptions: the old versions of A-148, A-150 and A-151
(manufactured before 2004). Details are available on the FAQ page of our
website (A-100: "Malfunction of A-150 or A-151 with voltages above +8V or
below -8V"). A-148, A-150 and A-151 manufactured later than 2004 do not have
these limitations.
Please ask the Doepfer representative in your country for the Dark Time
spare part.
