hi james, ersatzplanet as in Adult land by way of the Motorcity.
sounds good and i,too, would like to hear about your results.
there are new developments happening in the Mac community with OSX
10.2 and midi, which is becoming interesting. Midi will become as
tightand solid as the atari, if not there better, because it is being
dealt with at the OS level.
Max Msp is a very powerful tool and is not everyone`s cup of tea.
however, there is a company that has very similar analog sequencer
modules that could be used with a laptop to simulate this building
block approach without the programming involved with Max Msp.
the company is Mil productions. please check out there website at the
following Url.
http://www.milprod.com/modularing/modules/
their software will become OSX comptible in the next few months. this
is one scenario i may venture into, if it is tight and fairly crash
proof.
regards,
RM
