Beside questions like power consumption: You can make a longer ribbon
cable with two sockets on one side. Think it like the cable at the quad
modules...

...but with more space between the individual sockets.

The ribbon cable an the sockets can be bought at any electronics store
(but you may find suitable sockets and cables in some old PC hardware)
