Ok, let's put this into perspective! Here's how the thing should work, if it
doesn't work this way there's a design flaw or something. First, White noise
out, no variation when any of the knobs are turned. Second, colored noise
out is controlled by the blue and red knobs - these should ONLY affect the
output of the colored noise. Third, random output is controlled by the rate
and level knobs and ONLY those knobs! So, is this what happens If not,
the damn thing wasn't designed right.

Dieter just wrote to me that it is normal -it´s supposed to work that
way. You can disconnect the colored noise and connect the white noise
if you want to. Thereby eliminating the influence of the red and blue
pot.
