Sorry - but I have to contradict. In the the second version of the Dark
Energy I we added internal buffers to the main VCO capacitor (pin 4 of the
CEM3394) and to the main VCF capacitor (pin 15 of the CEM3394) to have
available at least the triangle of the VCO and the VCF signal available for
further processing. The idea was at this time to expand the Dark Energy by
another unit (Dark Matter) that should include waveform
processors/multipliers, another filter (12dB multimode), ring modulator,
S&H, a second VCO, a second envelope generator, a BBD unit and so on. But
then the CEM3394 ran out and we had to cancel this idea. Instead of this the
Dark Energy II was designed. The technical document of the Dark Energy I
mentions JP13 as "only available from version 2 of the voice board
(recognizable at the silk screen printing V2 2010)":
right pin of JP13 = VCO triangle output (buffered)
center pin of JP13 = GND
left pin of JP13 = VCF output (buffered)
If sockets are connected to these terminals I'd recommend 1k serial
resistors to protect the buffers against short circuits.
Best wishes
