But it is probably cheaper getting an A196 if you don't already own the necessary modules. 
I hope you are not interested in this for 100% accuracy. The A196 is a great module but it has quite some quirky behaviour. I love it especially for that!

I was wondering has anyone here created their own PLL using existing Doepfer Modules rather than getting hold of the A-196 Would it need the Analogue Comparator or can another module do the work I want to see what can be done with it before committing to buying one.
