Hi!
My A-183-3 (Amplifier) started smoking the other day. I think that I overloaded it with a strong audio signal Can't really see any other reason since at the time it started smoking I was was feeding it a signal to it - to boost the audio signal for the a-129 vocoder.
Not so good modules can short and start smoking - fire hazard...
But anyways... I assume it is the little IC circuit the got burnt... What kind of IC circuit is it and is it replaceable (looks like one simply can can put in a new one... ). Any advice would be appreciated.
Best, Lars
