Hi to all,
I have a number of doepfer cases: 2x LC3, 1 LC9 and a LC base. When I have my A-155/4 in the LC base all is ok. When it gets moved into either of the LC3 cases, the gates don't send correctly and looking on a scope you can see barely a voltage change. However as soon as I connect the a-155/4 via a second cable to one of the modules in the other cases, gate signal is back at full voltage. I am guessing this is because the LC3 power supplies provide no ground and that by connecting to another case I'm the providing that. My question is: is this a major issue, and why only is it the A-155/4 It's a bit of a pain having to patch another cable just to ground them but I'm more concerned that I'm doing something wrong. Is there a way to connect both of my LC3 cases to ground so that they work as well as the LC9/base does
Thanks,
Neil
