You should try A-190-4 CV2 to LevCV input, A-190-4 Gate out to A-141-2 Gate In (you don't mention that, but I assume you patched it), VarOut to A-131 CV In, sound source to A-131 audio In. Velocity then should control the level of the variable output. The A-130 you are using already exists (in a way) within the A-141-2: the input source to this VCA is the envelope output (+5V max), LevCV being its CV input, and the Var Out being its output. This will free up your A-130 for something else

Hi,
the module description for the awesome A-141-2 on miscellaneous sites on the internet (and obviously @
doepfer.de
) bring out some kind of an easy and efficient way to obtain velocity via “Var Out” and “Lev CV”.
Well, after trying different possibilities I always find the best solution in patching the classic way: A-190-4/CV2 => A-130/CV2 | A-141-2/Fixed (or Var) Out => A-130/Audio In | A-130/Audio Out => A-131/CV2 | “Soundsource” => A-131/Audio In | A-131/Audio Out…
Is there anybody out there with a concrete hint or is the whole approach of mine completely wrong
Thank you very much indeed for any reasonable input :-)
